Exterior Basement Waterproofing
Exterior basement waterproofing is a great long-term solution for preventing basement flooding, except in circumstances where there isn’t enough room for the excavation. Exterior basement waterproofing requires excavation and exposing of the foundation wall. We clean and inspect the outside of the wall for any cracks. Once excavated, we seal the walls with waterproofing membrane and weeping tiles or new drainage is positioned on the side of the footing. The final step is that we check the weeping tile connection to the drain or sump to ensure everything is working perfectly.
Interior Basement Waterproofing
Interior basement waterproofing is for you if you prefer not to alter the exterior or your home or do not have enough room for the excavation. We inspect the interior of your basement to find cracks and other issues that may be causing moisture problems. We install drip moldings and wall vapor/barriers/retarders are installed to collect water seeping from wall cracks. The water is directed to a drain which directs itself to a sump pump that helps the water flow out of the basement. The inspection is free. Just call us at 905-238-6800
